Aligned with global climate resilience priorities, this programme empowers women to become competitive actors in the emerging blue economy. We focus on gender-responsive aquaculture and the adoption of clean energy to ensure a greener, more food-secure future for vulnerable communities. In 2025, we transformed 146 women into competitive market actors by providing essential productive assets, including motorised boats and solar-powered freezers. From promoting climate-smart kitchen gardening to driving the adoption of clean cooking technologies, we are ensuring that women lead the charge in environmental stewardship and community health.
